Her shocking journey to help her sons with learning disabilities prompted her to write her first book, Invisible Red Tape.
After 5 years navigating the byzantine education system Micki set out to reveal the red tape that binds dyslexic children to lifelong learning struggles. Her odyssey lead to unsettling revelations about the societal impacts of children whose dyslexia is left unaddressed.
She lives with her family in Jersey City, New Jersey where she advocates for improvements in special education and is building her next venture to address the problems she uncovered.
